In total, six Eagles players were selected for the Pro Bowl, including four first-time recipients. However, none of them participated due to preparations for Super Bowl LII.

The Eagles defeated the New England Patriots by a score of 41–33 in Super Bowl LII for their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history. It was also their fourth Super Bowl Championship, and their first league title since 1960. This was the second time the Eagles and Patriots battled in a Super Bowl: when they met in Super Bowl XXXIX, the Patriots won 24–21.
